The final DownStreet Art Thursday of the season includes a full schedule of gallery openings and special events on September 24 from 6 – 9 p.m. on Main, Holden and Eagle Streets. “Out of the Box”, will be held at the North Adams Artists’ Co-Operative Gallery at 33 Main with an opening reception from 6-9 p.m., held concurrently with all other DownStreet activities.

A benefit roast beef dinner for Tammy Moon, who has been stricken with breast cancer, will be held Saturday, September 26, from 4-8 pm at the North Adams American Legion. It will be catered by Dave Lewis. Cost is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and children under twelve years of age. Tickets are available at the door or call 664.6617.

The Budweiser Clydesdales will appear in the October 4 Fall Foliage Parade. They will arrive in North Adams on Monday, September 28, and will be guests in the MASS MoCA parking lot for the week. The horses will be available for public viewing Tuesday through Thursday from 9-6 pm, Friday from 9-3 and Saturday from 9-6 pm.
