Ivan Knows Who Makes the Super Bowl Rock

The NFL Super Bowl is arguably one of the most watched games of the year. It is a night when people get together to chill and

enjoy a good game. It is a night for people jump on the bandwagons to cheer for “their” team. It is a night girls come out and pretend they follow the sport and go to a Super Bowl parties. It is a night to remember.

What’s so special about it this year? Well, the Super Bowl is also a night for hosting a grand musical performance during its halftime show and this year is no different. This year British rockers The Who will take the stage.

Led by Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, The Who will take the stage February 7, 2010 at the Bridgestone Super Bowl XLIV Halftime Show in Miami. It was announced on November 26 that the group would perform during the CBS halftime show for the Raiders and Cowboys game. Not sure yet on who will be playing in the actual game but… We Won’t Get Fooled Again!

Editors Note: This reminded me of a clip from “The Animaniacs” that I haven’t seen since I was 8 years old waiting for the bus. The fact that I’ve remembered it after all of these years is a true testament to its awesomeness.

Without a doubt, The Who is the best band that I’ve ever heard of that’ll be playing doing the halftime show. At least as far back as I can remember.
